After much review and debate, the State Trauma Advisory Council has approved a modified version of the Trauma Triage Guidelines published by the CDC. The guidelines will be used as the basis of protocols to determine to which level trauma center a trauma patients should be transported.

At our January meeting, the NCRTAC adopted the guidelines as approved by the STAC.
